Voter FAQ

• Register to vote

  Register to vote, or change your name, address or party affiliation using the Connecticut mail-in voter registration form. Mail your completed form to your local registrar of voters.

• Registration Deadline

  October 17, 2011 is the last day to mail in your Connecticut voter registration form for the General Election on November 1, 2011.

• When to vote

  Polls are open from 6 am to 8 pm in Connecticut.

• Where to vote

  Find your polling place using the Connecticut Voter Registration Lookup.

• What to bring

  Bring your Connecticut driver's license. Learn more.

• Vote absentee

  Voters who will not be able to vote at your polling place on election day may vote absentee. Fill out a request for absentee ballot form and mail it to your town clerk. Deliver your request at least 2 weeks prior to the election.
