  Minnesota has only local elections scheduled in 2011. The primary is August 9, 2011 and the general election is Nov. 8, 2011. Learn more.

  Verify your registration status.

• Registration Deadline

  Register at least 20 days before the election or at the polls on election day.

• When to vote

  Polls are open from 7 am to 8 pm in Minnesota.

• Where to vote

  Find your polling place.

• What to bring

  If you register at your polling place on election day, you must provide identification. Learn more (scroll halfway down).

• Absentee voting

  If you can not get to your polling place on election day, you may be permitted to vote absentee either in person (early) or by mail. Learn more.
